the cuteness just kills me

Hi :) Weekend Reading is up on the blog. A few highlights: The worst way to reply to a party invite. The midlife crisis comes for millennials. (OOF) The best movies of 2025 so far, and a new satire about tech bros. The best fashion exhibits to see this summer and the most anticipated summer books. Can influencer brands survive influencers? A frozen espresso martini recipe. How to make your bedroom feel like a fancy hotel. A brilliant $150 bathroom makeover, where to travel in October, and so much more. I hope you enjoy the list! xx

PS - this one gets a little long! Click through to Substack to read the whole thing. And if you are feeling nice, give it a heart. <3

20% off at U Beauty

This is big! Usually, my U Beauty code only works for new customers, but through June 10th, everyone gets 20% off! (Use GRACEATWOOD). I have a longer review of this brand on my blog. If I could only use one beauty brand again, I’d choose U Beauty for a) the incredible range and b) because they don’t miss. I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from the brand. Most recently, I love their new SPF (it’s ultra lightweight and silky) and this tinted moisturizer (I wear shade 04 and just got a new bottle with my code).

Katie Sturino x Kitty and Vibe

To know

Katie Sturino
is to love her! She is one of my close friends (and is just as funny, fashionable, and down-to-earth offline), but separate from that, a favorite person to follow on Instagram. We share a love of green, loud prints, and caftans, and my jaw dropped when I saw her new swimwear collection with Kitty and Vibe. I immediately ordered the tomato one piece, same with this sparkly green lurex one piece. The coolest part is, in her new book (out in a couple weeks!), the main character launches a swim collection (when you read it, you’ll know what I mean—they are described in great detail!) and those inspire these. They are even named for the characters. Congratulations to Katie for writing one of summer’s best beach reads and dressing us for the beach.

(Speaking of Katie, if you are in Charleston, I’ll be moderating this conversation with her — come see us!)

An Incredible Body Cream

Le Prunier sent over a few of things to try (I was excited, this brand has gotten so much hype), and the product I loved the most was actually the body cream. It makes my (lizard) skin so silky! The secret ingredient is actually a rare plum extract (exclusive to the brand that helps decrease redness, dryness, and flakiness. It also improves the skin’s elasticity. I applied it in the morning, and when I went to put on my pajamas, was struck by how smooth and silky my whole body felt (not usually the case, my skin is very dry!).

I love this and will be repurchasing with my own money. Everyone’s skin is different, but this does wonders for my arms and legs which can get quite rough. If you are on the fence, try out the smaller 30ml jar first (perfect for travel, I’ve already set mine aside for France).

New Dôen!

Dôen is one of my favorite brands all year ‘round, but especially during the warmer months. They just get summer. Breezy, semi-sheer fabrics, pieces that feel good against your skin on sweltering days. The summer collection is fab, and I love this top (generously gifted to me). It’s the perfect length (runs TTS) with a pretty neckline and a gorgeous print that goes with everything. I also bought this dress and this dress, and am eyeing this sheer lace nightgown of a dress.

(I paired the top with this Etsy necklace, which is a must — I also have the bracelets!)

First, the finale of Your Friends and Neighbors (Apple TV) was television perfection. It tied up loose ends, surprised me, and set things up for a second season. Other shows should take notes!

I really loved The Better Sister on Amazon Prime. I like Jessica Biel a lot, and she’s excellent in this. Also, her wardrobe is perfect. A woman’s husband is brutally murdered. Her estranged sister (who is also her husband’s ex and son’s biological mother) is called in, and they must figure out who killed her husband to save their son.

Adults (Amazon Prime) is a fun, cute show about a group of twenty-somethings living in New York. If you loved Overcompensating, this will be a good chaser.

I hate to say it but woof, And Just Like That (Max) was just… bad!!!! Everything about the first episode was awful and cringe from the phone sex to the fashion. I will probably keep watching but this show is a mess.

  • Weezie made us a code! I love their towels so much and ordered these covers for my pool loungers. For the month of June, take 15% off with GRACE15.

  • Hart just did a big restock of their gemstone necklaces, including my chrysoprase gumballs, which are a bigtime fave. Use GRACE10! I also just bought (and love) this snail pendant. A nice reminder to slow down.

  • Lake & Skye released some heavenly new hair and body mists. This one is my favorite. Use GRACEATWOOD15 for a discount.

  • Shopbop Hearts are up to date. Loads of good summer finds.

  • Cabana’s collab with Destree is a dream. Gorgeous tableware + accessories.

  • Soeur dropped pre-Fall, and I cannot get enough of this print (top, dress, scarf)

  • I’ve been testing this SPF for the past couple weeks and love how lightweight it is. Feels like nothing and absorbs immediately!

  • I just got this leather wrap belt and love it so much — the perfect way to cinch baggy dresses and tunics.

ICYMI - I am adding a little extra content beyond the paywall each week.

What’s below:

  • This week’s high + low

  • A fifth find!

  • Substack articles from fellow publishers that I enjoyed.
