hope your weekend looks something like this. More photos + poolside favorites in this post!

Hi there! Weekend Reading is up on the blog. This week’s list screams summer, and I love that. The bliss of a quieter ego. Sarah Jessica Parker and Glennon Doyle’s book recommendations. Shishito Popper Tacos. What if Gen-Xers are the cool ones? 25 beautiful gardens to visit in your lifetime. The scoop on the Practical Magic sequel. Summer’s best blockbuster films. Effortless spritz recipes from one of New York’s newest hot spots. The best fancy hand soaps. And more. I really enjoy putting this list together each week and hope you love it as much as I do.

PS - this one gets a little long! Click through to Substack to read the whole thing. And if you are feeling nice, give it a heart. <3

The Coolest Oversized Clutch

I just got this oversized clutch from Soeur’s ultra-cool collaboration with Sophia Roe, and it is so, so chic. I feel very stylish and sophisticated carrying it, but on the more practical side, it holds a ton. A clutch that fits my camera, sunglasses, and a disposable camera? C’est parfait! I highly recommend it!

Garlic Cellar

I think I’ve included this in previous gift guides, but a few friends in real life asked me about my garlic cellar, so here goes! I love it. If you cook a lot at home, I think it’s a must. You leave it out on the counter, and it is what it says it is… a little cellar for your garlic. It keeps it super fresh (no sprouting!) for ages. I highly recommend it if you love garlic as much as I do (it also makes a great gift!).

My Adjustable Rainbow Weights

I had been in the market for new weights (I have the 5, 10, and 15 lb dumbbells that come with the Peloton tread) as I’ve been lifting heavier. Initially, I was planning to buy a set of 20 lb dumbbells to match my Peloton weights.

I started to think about how I would probably need 25 lbs in a month or so, and so forth as I get stronger. That is just a lot of weights to have junking up my spare room, where I keep the tread and my weights (and a lot of other stuff!!). My friend

Chassity Evans
had mentioned that she had an adjustable set of weights, which just seemed smarter. I did a bit of research and landed on this set of fun rainbow weights. I love that they go up to 55lbs — I can’t see myself outgrowing them.

Guerlain’s Custom Lipsticks + Cases

This is the best gift idea! Guerlain has the most gorgeous custom lipstick builder on their website. You can choose a custom case, get it engraved with your initials, and order a lipstick bullet, all in one place. I am smitten. My personal favorite shades are 518 Le Rose Blush (a pretty, shiny, pinky nude) and 366 Le Rose Pompon (a slightly darker matte rosy pink).

I think the engraved mirror is so chic, and they do that for free!

Does our lovable villain ever get what he deserves? That’s the only reason I kept watching!!!

Your Friends & Neighbors remains the show I look forward to most each week. I love it. So much. Great cast, great premise (banker loses everything—wife, job… turns to petty crime around his wealthy (and obvious) neighborhood. I cannot recommend it enough.

I started and then stopped watching The Four Seasons on Netflix. Nope. It’s just not my show. A lot of people love it, but I gave it several episodes and felt annoyed watching it. Not for me!

I finished watching You (Netflix). Overall, it was just okay, but the ending was satisfying. After so many seasons (I skipped last year), I couldn’t help but see how they ended it.

  • We have an Anthropologie code! Tomorrow is the last day. GRACE20 for 20% off when you spend $100 or more. My personal favorites are saved here.

  • Paige is running 20% off sitewide. (It ends tomorrow.) I have this dress and these sandals, and I love them. When I was in their store last week, I was coveting this eyelet top and this smocked mini (in white, though the red is cute too!).

  • Shopbop Hearts are up to date! Loads of pretty warm weather finds.

  • I have a few good codes worth sharing. (By the way, I’m giving the blog a little facelift and updating my codes page to have everything in one place!)

    • My favorite sleep gummies are 15% off with code GRACE15.

    • DVF (omg) gave us a code for 15% off. Their new arrivals are pretty killer.

    • I love my Cumulus coffee machine and am working on a longer review of it for the blog. It's incredible to be able to make nitro cold brew at home. GRACE100 will give you $100 off the machine.

    • Lake & Sky: Take 15% off with code GRACE15.

    • HART: Take 10% off with code GRACE10.

  • We all know that Rothy’s makes cute, comfy shoes, and I’m loving their new summer clogs. These are the perfect puttering shoes. They feel like slippers, hug your feet like a cloud, and are perfect for slow days: leisurely walks and hanging out around the house.

ICYMI - I am adding a little extra content beyond the paywall each week.

What’s below:

  • This week’s high + low

  • A fifth find!

  • Substack articles from fellow publishers that I enjoyed!
