top, pants (bag is Loewe but they don’t make it anymore!)

Happy Saturday. I am back in Charleston after a travel-heavy week and a half. This weekend will be super calm and cozy. I will spend time at the pool with my family today and have garden drinks with a few girlfriends tomorrow afternoon.

Weekend Reading is up on the blog. There are so many TV shows and books to be excited about. Tips on how to be happier. 7 great Parker Posey performances to watch post White Lotus. The benefits of creatine. Summer’s best trends. Tips for flying on Spirit Airlines. Women-owned and led brands to shop. Links galore. And more . . . I hope you enjoy!!!!

PS - this one gets a little long! Click through to Substack to read the whole thing. And if you are feeling nice, give it a heart. <3

What I bought from the Sephora Sale

On Monday, I’ll be sending out my Sephora Sale master list (a sneak peek of what will be featured is here, on ShopMy) but in the meantime, here is what I ordered!

  • Bisou Balm in Bêtise (I love these matte balms!)

  • Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream (but of course)

  • 3 packs of Kate McCloud Eucalyptus Bath Pebbles (always)

  • My favorite sheet masks (thrilled to see on Sephora and not just Amazon)

  • 4 of my favorite (already reasonably affordable) candle.

  • Violette Bisou Jelly (because I’m curious and want to review it)

  • Same with this orange blossom body oil.

  • More of Nécessaire’s wildly effective deodorant, Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream, Theraplush, and Topicals Eye Masks, because I’m running low.

My favorite striped tee

I am sharing this “comfort item” as I put it on (with the Eby bra below, lol) when I got home from my travels and needed to be as cozy as possible. It was fresh out of the wash and I remembered how much I love it. So simple, but so good. It’s hard to find a good striped tee that is just long enough, slim cut without being clingy, and has just the right neckline. (High, but not going to bug my neck!) And the thickness—I love that this is lightweight but not too thin. This one is it (for me). The best striped tee. I have it in a medium and a large, and find I prefer the large because it’s just a little bit longer. There’s a long-sleeve version and a solid (one of my favorite white tees). If you buy two, they are 20% off!

The Most Comfortable Bra

This bra is the granny panties of bra. It is not necessarily the most prettiest bra, but it is hella comfortable, especially for traveling, etc. Aptly named, “The Relief Bra,” it has no underwires but offers underwire-level support and shaping, meaning you feel like you are wearing a comfortable bralette but wear a tighter tee or sweater. I was lucky to have been wearing it on my travel odyssey; it feels like a soft hug. (And if you’re looking for something almost as comfy but a little prettier/sexier, their mesh pieces are gorge!)

(Speaking of granny panties, these are my favorite.)

A New-to-Me Source for Antique Treasures

A reader DM’d me these gorgeous faux malachite vases from Housebound Interiors, and I gasped . . . isn’t the Internet wonderful? Just when you think you’ve seen everything, you find something like this. I ended up purchasing this one, but I cannot get enough of this website. They have so much cool stuff. Their new arrivals page is a treasure trove, and they seemingly add new things a few times each week. These silver bud vases, this face plate, this green rope pitcher—wow!

We (my bf and I) finally watched The Brutalist. He (an architect) was dying to see it, but I was not so excited. I did not want to see it in theaters (only because the only theater where it was playing had tiny, uncomfortable seats and the film is nearly four hours long!) I told him I’d only watch it if we could break it into three seventy-minute sessions. The joke is on me as we watched it before and after dinner, and I enjoyed it so much! The second half is a little weird, but the cinematography is gorgeous, and the plot kept us both on our toes, guessing what would happen. I’ve been telling friends to go in expecting it to be long and boring so that they’ll be pleasantly surprised!

And of course, still watching The White Lotus. I can’t believe tomorrow is already the season finale.

  • 30% off at Loeffler Randall! (Enough said, haha)

  • You went wild for the shirt I wore to my panel on Thursday. It’s a good one! We have a code, too — GRACE15.

  • Cadence is having a sale! I love their capsules when I am traveling. I have this set in cobalt (highly recommend) and love the new adapters; total genius!

  • Shopbop Hearts are updated and waiting for you! Loads of gorge Spring finds this week.

  • I just got this neroli & basil deodorant and really love the scent.

ICYMI - I am adding a little extra content beyond the paywall each week.

What’s below:

  • This week’s high + low

  • A fifth find!

  • Substack articles from fellow publishers that I enjoyed!
