The Saturday Group Text, #72
An affordable shoe crush, a blush that makes you look instantly happier, a cute new sunglass brand, a few new discount codes, loads of TV recs, and more

Hi! Weekend Reading is up on the blog. It’s a good list. Thoughtful tributes to both Michelle Trachtenberg and Gene Hackman. John Lithgow will play Dumbledore (best casting ever?) Cheap, healthy dinner ideas. The twenty-something nuns (!!) How to get back into reading. The must-see movies that were overlooked by the Academy. Does style shift every seven years? The best mother-daughter trips around the world. Where to go this June. Plus, a few gorgeous home tours and a slew of shopping finds. Enjoy.

Dolce Vita Wedges
Dolce Vita has quickly become my (not-so) secret spot for cute, affordable shoes. I have a few pairs of shoes I’ve splurged on, like my Alaia flats, but since I walk everywhere (that and all of the lawn parties), my shoes can get a little beat up. Dolce Vita has the cutest shoes that won’t break the bank. I tried the raffia wedges above on a whim and love them. They’re really comfortable, make your legs look super long, and they are very well made. Other faves include these daisy print Dad sandals, these Prada-esque fisherman sandals, these gold platforms, and these periwinkle blue suede flats.
Sardine
This new-to-me brand makes the cutest sunglasses. Everything they do is really bold and fun but somehow very wearable, too. I try not to let packaging shape my opinion, but the striped cases they come with are so cute. I got these in abalone (you know I’m having an abalone moment) and really love them. You can use GRACE15 to take 15% off
I was sent this blush in a big box of products from NARS (they are really good about sending over their new launches to test) and I was instantly intrigued by the color. It looks like a less pigmented, less shimmery version of Orgasm. I put it on my cheeks, then my forehead, and then down the bridge of my nose (so basically all over my face) and couldn’t help but think how much more awake and happy I looked. I think it’s the perfect pick-me-up when you want a little something extra but not bronzer.
This isn’t how it’s meant to be used, but I find it’s an excellent finishing powder as the last step in my makeup routine!
These “roadies” from Cann are absolutely genius. They are purse-friendly little packets of flavored THC/CBD. So, say you are at a party; you can just add one of these to your seltzer or whatever mixer, and boom, there you are with a little booze-free buzzy cocktail. Each packet has 2mg THC; I find that 2-3 of these is the perfect amount (which is how many cocktails I like to have, too!). Very, very smart idea!
I started Zero Day on Netflix but was sadly a little bit underwhelmed. I was initially so excited by the idea of Robert De Niro as president, but I stopped after two episodes. Is anyone watching? What do you think? Should I pick it back up?
And then I have my usual rotation (I LOVE ALL OF THESE!)
Surface Season 2 (Apple) — I am glad this show is back. The first episode was a strong start.
The White Lotus (Max) — obsessed, always (though it’s off to a slower start, I have faith).
Paradise (Hulu) — this week’s episode was low-key terrifying. Too plausible. Oof.
Prime Target (Apple) — a math prodigy finds himself being hunted by the government after making a discovery about prime numbers.
Last night, I started watching Running Point with Kate Hudson (Netflix). It’s cute and light. A fun background show, I would say.
How fun is this fringed terrycloth skirt? Pool party perfection.
I can’t believe this necklace is under $100. It’s gorgeous.
My Shopbop Hearts are up to date! Lots of happy Spring things.
Two really good codes to share:
Co made us a code. Use 10% off. You may remember how obsessed I am with these dreamy lightweight cashmere pull-on pants. Use GRACE10
Ariel Gordon made us a code for 15% off. I am a long-time fan of her jewelry. These diamond studs and this rainbow catchall are both on my wish list. Meanwhile, I have and love this jewelry box and am dying to make pet portrait charms for the boys. Use GRACE15
Donni dropped their first Spring collection. I got these red silk pants and this tee. I am (as always, lately) feeling very into red!
Did you see these bright, happy bags from La Veste? Just need to pick a color.
ICYMI - I am adding a little extra content beyond the paywall each week.
