This week’s round-up of outfits starts in Paris, goes to Provence, back to Paris, and then heads home to Charleston. I am still reacclimating to being at home. It’s not just the time zone change but the pace! And really now! It feels deeply unfair that there’s no plate of croissants waiting for me when I come downstairs, no one to make me a fancy cappuccino, and that I’m back to having deadlines and long to-do lists. Real life, boo hoo hoo… woe is me. ;)
On the flip side of the coin, being back in my house with the cats is the best feeling. Travel is wonderful, but it makes us appreciate being home even more. I posted this note on Sunday and had no idea how many people it would resonate with!
My Provence outfits were very simple but involved some of my favorite basics. I’m so thrilled that Leset made a lightweight version of my favorite tee. This one has been on repeat. And you know I’ve been limiting my Amazon consumption, but when I saw these flip flops (a dead ringer for this overpriced and sold out pair from The Row), I had no choice but to buy them. They are great.
The above Leset tee, my favorite Janessa Leone sun hat (I have a giant head and love that they make their hats in XL), and a French linen apron that they gave us on the retreat.
I spent a wonderful afternoon writing and drawing at the bastide’s pool. Can you believe this cute coverup is from Lands End? It’s on super sale too.
This is when I reached the point of being so relaxed that I wore a nightgown around town, wrinkles and all.
I wish I didn’t know how perfect these Nili Lotan shorts are, as they are expensive. That said, they are the best. I had been wanting a pair of longer cutoffs, tried on over a dozen options, and this pair is perfect. Take your usual denim size.
A cozy little hobbit, happy in her house. Have we talked about the Rothy’s clogs recently? They are the most supportive, comfortable shoe. If you wear a half size, go down! I can’t get enough; this is my second pair. I also bought a pair for my mom.
Dinner with my parents. So sad this Zara dress sold out! Ballet flats are Freda, ofc!
I spent Saturday hanging out at home by the pool. Books, snacks, heaven. I love that these bracelets are waterproof.
Cookbook club! These Alex Mill pants are fab. They are on mega sale… final sale! I wear size medium and can confirm that they run true to size.
That’s all for today! Hope your week is off to a great start. Provence recs tomorrow! Xoxo
I love the green bathing suit, and honestly, Lands End has been killing it with swimwear. I've been eyeing a gingham bathing suit.
The shorts in this round up are A++! Those Co shorts thread the needle between chic and sporty. Creative Retreat Grace is a real vibe!
