I had the weekend I needed to have, which was different from the weekend I wanted to have. I wanted to be lazy and cozy and hole up and go to our Christmas parade, but my downstairs heater was broken and I had an enormous amount of life admin stress. And so: I got the heat fixed (god bless my HVAC people, who work on the weekends), I got my way through an alarmingly large pile of mail, I cleaned the house, organized my fridge, organized my linen closet (a mess!), and did all of the annoying things I didn’t want to do. I did make it out to a friend’s art show and another friend’s baby shower, but this was a weekend of doing the things I really needed to do but had been putting off.
Anyway, outfits! This post is a fun one. I had a lot of reasons to leave the house. I wore a lot of red. This post gets a little long so you’ll need to click through to Substack to read it. Give it a heart if you’re feeling nice.
a few things to share:
A new to me jewelry favorite is Juju Vera. I found the brand via . I saw her in the shell necklace and have never stalked and immediately bought something so quickly. You can tell I really love it, I wore it several times in just the last week.
A brand that is suddenly everywhere: Ruti! I bought these perfect pants; later the brand offered gifting and I chose this plissé top and pants. I love them. It was my Thanksgiving outfit and so comfortable. They gave us a code, GRACE15.
This Madewell sweater is the perfect everyday sweater, and it’s on sale right now. It’s a hybrid of sweater and sweatshirt, and I love the dropped shoulder.
I keep getting asked about my phone case and wristlet (people thought it was a necklace last time). They are both from Ossa. I love having the chain, it keeps me organized.
Above outfit was worn to a cozy dinner with friends on a very cold night.
Went to a dive bar (Mac’s) with friends for buffalo chicken wraps.
(GRACE15 gets you 15% off my jeans.)
Thanksgiving day at my parents’ house! I love this plissé set from Ruti. I love a plissé set or dress. So comfy, yet polished. Perfect for a day where you’re having a big meal, ha ha. Use GRACE15.
Working from home. My jeans are from American Eagle’s new premium brand, AE77. I like them a lot! A dark wash with no funny business.
I went to the tail end of a friend’s oyster roast (bubbles in hand) and wore this jacket from Posse. It is amazing. It is a little bit big (I’m in my usual medium) but I like it that way! I pre-ordered mine on Moda but it’s also available here, here, and here.
Working from home. I love the color of this happy sweater!
There was a cute little Sip & Shop at the Charleston Place. I went with a girlfriend and then we grabbed fries and wine after. Cannot say enough good things about THE PANTS. I have them in a few colors but my goodness, the green is amazing.
If you’re new to La Ligne you can use code GRACE10.
Working from home. These pants are perfect. I was influenced by ’s letter and adore them; the perfect cozy barrel leg (with an elastic waist). Use code GRACE15!
There was a member mingle for Society 1858 (The Gibbes Museum’s young professionals’ group) and it was COLD! I wore a long dress, tights, and boots.
Working from home. Again in this sweater! It is a favorite.
Every year, my friend Molly organizes a fun holiday dinner. It was the perfect excuse to break out this PERFECT Molli set. Molli is one of my favorite more under-the-radar French brands. I have one other set in fun rainbow stripes. Really special piece and beautiful quality.
Also, I realize it’s probably too cold in most parts of the world but these are the most perfect sandals and the brand restocked them. So comfortable!
I wore this to a celebration for a friend’s new baby. Again: The La Ligne Colby Pants. I have them in a variety of colors and fabrics (these are the same pants as the green pants above but in cotton) and they are the greatest.
Whew. If you made it through the end, well done, you get a gold medal. This was a long one!

I adore your outfit roundups. I've never heard of Oliphant before - so many beautiful wearable dresses. Thanks for influencing me!
