look at this bird from my walk last night!

How was your weekend? Mine was quiet and restorative after a month of travel! I got a lot of laundry done, played catch-up on work, read an entire book, worked on my own book, got in some good walks and made it to Pilates, and had a really nice afternoon with my dad.

I try to do an AMA every six weeks. I am not the best at replying to longer questions via Instagram DMs (fat fingers, little screen), so doing these is an easier way to answer them. This month’s questions were mostly around shopping, but we also talked about GLP-1s, TV picks, decluttering, and I answered two questions around gift-giving. I hope you enjoy it.

You can read the last one below!

Q. Grace, do you think women of a certain age, over 65, should wear shorts and cut-offs in the hot summer to walk dogs and do errands?

A. I absolutely do. I hate “dressing for your age” just as much as I hate “dressing for your body. If it makes you happy, if you feel good, and if you are comfortable? I’m all for it!

Q. Looking for cute one-piece bathing suits that are fashionable but not cheeky. I am in good shape, but do not want to show my bottom.

A. I feel this. I have no desire to show my bottom either. My three favorite brands for swimwear right now are below, and they all have great butt coverage.

  1. Stylest — really great looking suits that sculpt your midsection without looking like shapewear. I am a big fan of this square-neck tank. GRACE15 should work for a discount.

  2. Bondi Born — A new favorite of mine; I love this one in particular. It’s expensive but it sucks you in, pushes your boobs up, I feel amazing in it.

  3. Left on Friday — The Sunday suit is everything! Great coverage, cute colors, so extremely comfortable. I get the tall version as I have a longer torso. The Club suit is great too.
